Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Masai Mara national reserve.

Depart from Kenya’s capital, Nairobi in the morning and drive past the scenic escarpments of the western arm of the Great East African Rift valley. Arrive at the lodge just in time for a sumptuous African buffet, served by great friendly hotel staff.

Begin with an experiential game drive in the afternoon with in the park to discover Masai Mara’s resident animals, and have your first taste of a safari in Kenya.

Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa lodge.

Day 2: First Game drive in Masai Mara

This exciting day of game viewing begins with a warm breakfast at your lodge. Masai Mara national park is a proud home to Africa’s Big 5 mammals and one can expect fabulous photo opportunities. Be expectant too to meet large herds of zebra, wildebeest as well as cheetah, and the views of hippos and crocodiles along numerous rivers flowing across the National Park.

Day 3: Last game drive in Masai mara

You will enjoy a morning game drive in the endless plains of the Masai Mara national reserve; you will enjoy many animals which include; wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions and after, you will return to the lodge for lunch, before departing to the Masai village for a cultural excursion and memorial encounter with this warrior tribe. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Masai – Mara to Nairobi. Departure

An early start from the lodge and head for Nairobi. You can choose to take a morning game drive through the Masai Mara Reserve again to have a last glance at Africa’s legendary park.
