Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kidepo valley national park
Having had an early morning breakfast, you will meet your driver at 6am to brief you about a 16 days Uganda adventure to Uganda’s greatest national parks for the remarkable best experience in life. Embark on a road trip to Kidepo valley national park which is Uganda’s only virgin land which is a 10-hour drive from Kampala.
On your way, have a stopover to Luweero town for a couple of fruits like yellow bananas, oranges, apples and many more. Continue with your journey to Masindi town for lunch and refreshment then proceed to Kidepo and check in at the lodge for dinner and rest from a tiresome journey.

Day 2: Game drive and cultural encounter (Manyattas)
After enjoying breakfast, have a game drive through the magnificent plains and undulating hills of Kidepo valley national park. With the scenic views of park accompanied by wild game, make Kidepo valley national park a home for adventure.
Among others you will be in position to spot the cheetahs, lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs patrolling the park with their tails erected in search for signals, antelopes of different kinds and birds. For bird lovers, Kidepo is the meeting ground for birds in various regions of Africa making it the best place for bird watching.
Retire from the activity and have lunch accompanied by refreshments. In evening, you will head to Manyatta (Karamoja homesteads) just out of the park for the best cultural encounter. Together with your guide visit different families viewing the large herds of cattle and other live stocks. Also experience various cultural exhibitions like hand crafts, dances and songs. After the encounter, move back to the lodge for dinner and rest overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison falls national park.
After enjoying breakfast, check out of the lodge and head to Murchison falls national park which is Uganda’s greatest national park. On record, this park hosts the strongest waterfall in the world “Murchison falls”. Have a stopover in Gulu town for lunch and some relaxation and then proceed to the park via Pakwachi to the northern sector of the park. You will check in to the lodge for relaxation as you wait for dinner.

Day 4: Game drive and boat cruise at the bottom of the falls, top of the falls
You will wake up very early in the morning for a morning game drive where you will have a chance to spot early risers and nocturnal species before they return to their hideouts. This is the most beautiful national park in Uganda which hosts 4/5 of the big 5 animals and also home to one of the most beautiful and powerful falls in the world so far.
Traverse the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest National Park before returning later to the lodge for breakfast. You will have a chance of viewing some of the Park’s residents including lions, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, antelopes, buffalo and elephants.
In the afternoon, head for boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile thunders through a small 7-meter gorge plunging 43 meters into the Nile on the way to Lake Albert. A number of wild game will be spotted in the river cooling their body temperatures, others grazing along the river banks while the hippos observing whatever is taking place in their territories.
You can then get off the boat and go hiking up the side of the falls to the top where you can have memorable photographs. After retire from that awesome activity and move back to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale national park
After morning breakfast, you will sign out of the park for again another trip to Kibale national park “the primate capital of the world”. Make a stopover to Fort portal town for lunch and refreshment. After continue with the journey to Kibale national park and check in at the lodge, have some time to relax as you wait for dinner and rest overnight.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
Having had morning break tea, you will transfer to the park information center for briefing at 8 am and then following a well experienced guide move to the field to trek the chimps. During the trekking, occasionally you will encounter other primates like blue monkeys and black and white colobus monkeys up in the canopies, birds and when you luck might meet the small antelopes of the park. The activity lasts for about 4 hours but only 1 hour is allocated for you to spend with the chimps observing their behaviors and taking photos.
After the activity, you move back for lunch at the lodge and rest for some time. In the evening have a nature walk to Bigodi swamp and where you will spot many birds like great blue turaco plus the primates which dwell in the swamp. Taking a walk in this swamp is worth as you enjoy the cool natural environment of the swamp with occasion sighting of monkeys up in the tree. After the experience, move back to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and visit Katwe salt pans
After taking your breakfast, you will head to Queen Elizabeth national park which is the most visited park in Uganda. The park is famous for its tree climbing lions and the vast wildlife species not forgetting the undulating hills and the scenic views of the craters. Have a stopover at the equator for memorable photographs and then proceed to the lodge for lunch and refreshment.
In the evening, head to Katwe village and visit the salt pans, interact with the communities mining salt and go through the mining processing. Get to know the information concerning about salt formation and others. Retire from the activity and move back for resting as you wait for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Game drive and boat cruise on Kazinga channel
Have a morning game drive through the park to see the beautiful landscape of the park featured with numerous crater lakes curled in the valleys of small hills in the park. The savanna landscape that homes more than 70 mammal species like the elephants, buffaloes, oribis, warthogs, lions, bushbucks, waterbucks, Uganda kobs and many others which can’t be miss to be spotted on a game drive here.
The afternoon will be occupied by a launch cruise at Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward to Lake George. This is one of the longest water channels in Africa and its shores are populated by several huge hippos, elephants that come over to cool themselves, other wildlife looking for water as well as various bird species. Actually, it’s one of the birding spots in Uganda. After the activity, you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and resting.

Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi NP en route Ishasha sector
After breakfast, embark on the trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in south western part of Uganda. You undertake a game drive en route in Ishasha sector in search of the tree climbing lions. This section of the park is well endowed with the infamous climbing lions together with other wild game that dwell in this woodland part of the park. The tree climbing lions prefer to lie flat on fig tree branches in the mid-morning sun while waiting for their prey. After this encounter, proceed on the drive to Bwindi arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Gorilla trekking and Batwa trail
An early breakfast and move to the park headquarters for briefing from the local guides. After start on the journey into the impenetrable forests on the search for mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking involves a simple hike through the montane forest without clear paths but rather having to pave your way to the top with the help of the local guide.
On the search, meet several other primate species like the white and black colobus monkeys, baboons and others as well as different bird, butterflies and reptile species. When you the gorilla family, spend an hour with them, watching them play from one tree branch to another, fight each other and their way of life. Take as many pictures as you want provided the camera doesn’t have a flash.
Later visit the Batwa community, the first inhabitants of the impenetrable forest of Bwindi, experience how they used to hunt in the bush using the arrow and bow, visit the community’s shrines and also taste the local cuisines of these ancient people, Also engage in the in the traditional dance and songs performed here.

Day 11: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and evening canoeing
Wake up for a sunny morning, take breakfast and check out of the lodge and head to Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Uganda. The lake is dotted with 29 islands most of which host people and their farms, some with tree plantations and others with hotels and lodges. Have lunch at the lodge and relax.
In evening you will go for canoeing, it is a best experience where you control the canoe as you sail on a calm lake while viewing different features around the lake.

Day 12: Midmorning boat cruise and relaxation
After taking breakfast, head for a mid-morning boat cruise which takes you around the lake while visiting different islands including the punishment where girls found pregnant before marriage were thrown as a punishment until death. It is a fantastic experience to undertake a boat cruise on Uganda’s deepest lake. After retire and sail back for lunch and relax until dinner.

Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP en route Igongo cultural center
Having had morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and head to Lake Mburo national park the smallest savanna park in Uganda but with rewarding wildlife species. Have a stopover at Igongo cultural central center for lunch, and then pay a visit exhibition rooms which show cultural items for the western culture. After continue with journey to Lake Mburo national park. Check in at the lodge for relaxation as you for dinner and overnight.

Day 14: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Have an early breakfast and embark on the safari vehicle for a game drive through the park. This will expose you to several wildlife species in just a few minutes of the drive. Spot the impalas, giraffes, warthogs, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks plus so many others.
In the afternoon, have a boat cruise on the famous lake Mburo. From the moment you first step in the boat, you feel already connected to the beautiful natural waters of the lake. A boat cruise gives spectacular views of the surrounding environment and aquatic wildlife species like hippos, crocodiles, water birds making it a perfect destination for photographers. After the activity, you will move back to the lodge for leisure as you wait for dinner and overnight rest.
